Students from East View Academy, Quora Secondary School, Pankalo Education Center, and Bellaire Education Center have worked hard this school year, engaging in experiential learning and woodworking skills as they build boats with Urban Boatbuilders each week.

Urban Boatbuilders is a great partnership. They bring the tools, materials, and an instructor. Throughout the process, the students learn to solve problems, discuss complicated concepts while working toward a shared goal, and when the project is complete, the students have newfound skills and confidence in themselves. 

The class will launch the boats they have worked so hard building on May 31 at 10 am at Matoska Park in White Bear Lake.
