Technology

Technology enhances the work and learning experiences of Northeast Metro 916 staff, students, and member districts through the use of technology. It supports the district's computers (hardware and software), telephone system, data network, website, and all technology-related products and services.

Our school district uses the latest assistive and educational technology to meet student needs.

Our students are always using the most innovative and state-of-the-art tools to extend their learning beyond a traditional classroom by:

  • Using virtual reality to explore the arctic tundra

  • Programming robots to navigate mazes

  • Using iPads to speak their lines in a school play

  • And more!

Our staff has access to the newest collaboration programs, including video chat, Google Suite, and more, so physical distance is no barrier to professional development and partnership.

We are committed to providing excellent customer service; our support technicians consistently receive the highest marks on staff and student surveys.
