Career and Technical Center

In cooperation with the North East Metro Secondary Perkins Grant, our consortium is offering internships for educators this summer (June & July 2017).   The goal of the internship program is to offer CTE instructors the opportunity to have a hands-on experience working in a business or an industry, enabling curricula development based on their experiences.   Teachers who wish to participate will secure an internship site within their career field of teaching, and work between 3-10 days at 6 hours per day.   The internship opportunity is open to businesses looking for a project based intern or a position based intern.   Upon completion of the internship, a 1-2 page summary of experiences will be completed by each participant.
