This program ensures a professional team is available to provide quality instruction and support for the educational process for children ages birth to 21 who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as students who are blind or visually-impaired. The goal is to help these students to reach their academic potential within the regular education setting.

Our teachers:

Provide academic assessment of students
Participate in child-study team meetings
Consult with local school district staff
Provide direct and indirect educational services to the student
Lead workshops to inform students, teachers and staff on issues related to hearing and hearing loss
Provide support and guidance on assistive technology and FM systems.
