Absences
It is important to report your student’s absence each day your child is absent from school. Please call the attendance line at 651-415-6311 to report absences. Please include in your message:

Student name
Teacher/case manager
Reason for absence (illness, appointment, out of town)
Symptoms your child is experiencing or if they have been diagnosed with a communicable disease (influenza, strep throat)

Immunizations
Minnesota State Law requires that each student in a Minnesota school be protected from childhood diseases by receiving immunizations. Immunization records should be provided by the first day of school. Download the immunization form now. Parents/guardians may obtain a legal exemption for medical reasons or conscientious beliefs.

Medications
Some students may require prescription medication or medically-necessary procedures during the school day. All prescription and over-the-counter medication and treatments require orders by a doctor. The orders must be complete and specific, and signed by both a licensed practitioner and the parent/guardian before any medication or treatment will be given. Medication must be supplied in the original, properly labeled pharmacy container. Parents or guardians are expected to transport medications to and from school. Download the form for medications.

Snacks
Thank you for your willingness to send snacks to school for your student(s). We do have several students in the building with food allergies, particularly nut allergies. We understand that our students have particular tastes so we do not limit the kind of snacks you may send to school. However, we ask that you please try and send nut-free snacks whenever possible. In addition, please make sure that you check any snack you send to school for allergens and inform school staff promptly. This ensures that all students remain safe at school.
