This program provides comprehensive audiological services to children ages birth to 21 who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as to their families and school personnel. The program involves working closely with students, parents, and school staff to ensure the most appropriate educational environment for students. The audiology program is equipped with current technology and provides complete audiology services.

Services include:

  • Audiology assessments

  • Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT) to help individual students in the classroom

  • Ear molds as defined by the student's individual education plan (IEP)

  • Consultation at IEP meetings specific to assistive technology, environmental assessments, etc.

  • Training for educational staff and school health personnel
