More than 35 intermediate career and technical educators from 287, 288, 916, and 917 had the opportunity to collaborate with other CTE professionals from each of our Intermediate school districts. Each one-day event focused on providing educators in each career pathway with the chance to enhance instructional practices, strengthen industry and post-secondary connections, and improve student outcomes. The 916 Career and Technical Center and Southwest Metro 288's Culinary program hosted the event.

Instructors shared, “It was incredibly valuable to have the opportunity to spend time with our peers, sharing thoughts, ideas, and strategies.”  “I loved meeting, sharing resources, discussing barriers, and general collaboration and support across CTE,” and “As a result of the collaborative work today, I will be looking into providing my students with additional industry certifications and will be working on strengthening post-secondary partnerships.” These events were made possible through the Minnesota Service Cooperatives CTE Consortium grant.
