Northeast Metro 916 has hired three new Education Assistant (EAS) Coaches. This team will directly support first-year and probationary EAS staff to gain the skills necessary to help our students in the classroom. Each EAS Coach divides their time between two special education programs. 

While these positions are new and will develop and shift across this first year, they will support special education orientation, mentoring meetings, site shadow days, and classroom modeling. These positions are part of the Special Projects Department and support district-wide special education work under the direction of Theresa Wallace, Special Projects Manager.

Please welcome Teresa Palmen (Karner Blue Education Center and Pankalo Education Center), David Townsel (Bellaire Education Center and South Campus Education Center), and Kyle Brown (Quora Secondary School and WELS-North) as the three new EAS Coaches.
